Our Methodology
We hold ourselves to the highest standards of informational integrity. Discover how we select claims, research evidence, and synthesize the final Truth Rating.
Claim Selection
We focus on claims that are highly viral, culturally significant, or have the potential to cause public harm if left unchecked. We do not prioritize claims based on political affiliation or ideological convenience. Our monitoring systems track velocity across social platforms to identify targets for verification.
Evidence Gathering
Our researchers seek out primary sources. This includes raw unedited video footage, official government databases, peer-reviewed scientific journals, and direct contact with the subjects of the claims. We explicitly cite all evidence used so readers can verify the truth themselves.
The Truth Spectrum
We recognize that reality is rarely binary. Rather than simple “True” or “False” labels, we categorize claims using our Truth Spectrum:
- Verified: The claim is entirely accurate and supported by undeniable primary evidence.
- Partial Truth: The claim contains factual elements but omits critical context that changes the narrative.
- Misleading: The core premise relies on manipulated data, out-of-context framing, or logical fallacies.
- False: The claim is entirely fabricated and contradicted by undeniable primary evidence.
- No Evidence: There is currently no verifiable public evidence to either prove or disprove the claim.
Editorial Synthesis & Review
Before any rating is published, the evidence and context are subjected to a rigorous editorial review by the Platform Owner. This ensures that the final published Intelligence Report maintains strict neutrality and adherence to these methodological standards.
Corrections Policy
Transparency means admitting when we are wrong. If new evidence emerges that contradicts our findings, or if we make a factual error, we will update the report immediately and clearly append a “Correction Notice” to the top of the article.
